Free Trial Document Handling

When this applies

These document-handling terms apply when upload is available in your workspace. Upload remains unavailable until the document worker and its security controls are ready.

What you can upload

Text files up to 5 MiB and PDF or Word files up to 10 MiB. Scanned images are not read and password-protected files are refused. Plan limits on the number of documents and storage also apply.

Highly sensitive information must not be uploaded during the free trial; the Free Trial Terms give examples. This is a rule, not a check: Anvaylo does not detect or block such content in uploads, so you are responsible for not uploading it.

Checking and storage

Each upload is checked before anyone can open it. A malware scan runs in Anvaylo’s own worker, and a file that is infected, password-protected or cannot be scanned is rejected or held and cannot be opened.

Originals are stored in a private cloud storage bucket in the United States, with public access blocked, encrypted connections required, default encryption on and no versioning.

Who can see a document

Members of your workspace whose role and document grants allow it. Each document owner decides who can read the original, and every request re-checks membership on the server.

Anvaylo’s recorded staff-access policy permits access only as necessary for customer support requests, security investigations or legal requirements. There is no application screen or tool for staff to read customer documents. Access through database-owner accounts, provider dashboards or cloud storage consoles is outside the application’s controls. A staff-access log and approval process do not yet exist. These terms do not promise that all staff access is restricted or recorded.

Analysis

Passages and labelled lines are extracted by rule-based software. Findings are proposals for a person to accept or reject. An optional model-assisted extraction step is off unless switched on. AI training is switched off.

Deleting a document

Deleting a document stops access for everyone at once. After cleanup is authorised and the background job finishes, the original is overwritten with an empty marker and derived text is removed. The stored object and its opaque key remain. Cleanup may require an operator while automated deletion is held; no completion time is guaranteed. Audit records retain who did what and when without the document text.

Database backups can keep derived text for a limited time that Anvaylo has not yet confirmed. Customers cannot restore deleted content.

Known limitation: if an upload is stuck after a failed safety check and is then deleted, access stops at once but its title and any derived text may remain until an Anvaylo operator completes the clean-up. A fix is prepared and is not yet in use.

Known limitation: if Anvaylo ever restored the database from a backup, deletions of single documents made after that backup could be undone until they are re-applied. A safeguard for this is being built and is not yet in use.

When a workspace ends

An archived workspace is kept for 720 hours (30 days). Deletion is then scheduled, including its documents, subject to notice delivery, operator review and safeguards. Automated deletion is currently held. Company and account names are scrubbed and registered records are erased or scrubbed when cleanup completes. Some non-content records have no end date set yet. Backup and provider-copy deletion is not verified.

Getting your data out

An individual assessment report can be downloaded as HTML or Markdown: limited and watermarked on Free, detailed on Paid. A request for a wider export is only recorded; no export package is produced while exports are disabled.
